Carla’s Story

Carla, a Colorado native, shares her home with her husband and three cats, Han, Leia, and Kylo. Imagination was a loyal childhood companion and a story always brewed inside her head. Her stories remained private until the publication of Elle’s Magical Shoes.

Now Carla shares her wild imagination with the world as she travels in time, swims with the merfolk, flies over the island of the fae, delves into Viking myths, enters outer space, or invents a new perspective to familiar fairy tales. With her books, she hopes to inspire readers of all ages, proving that age should never hinder the ability to dream or savor life. While her stories are primarily aimed at middle grade and young adult audiences, fans of fantasy and sci-fi from every generation have fallen in love with her enchanting tales.
